The software running on the Remootio device gets updated constantly to improve the user experience and add new features. You can find the important changes for all software versions below:


  • Internet connectivity improvements


  • Users may now specify when the manual button is allowed to operate the Remootio device. The time-limitation works using a from-to interval or weekly recurring pattern similarly how it works for unique keys.
  • Enhanced Remootio 2 output configuration options
  • Remootio 2 users can now specify which input terminals to use for a specific add-on


  • Connectivity improvements for devices with intermittent internet access


  • The flow of resetting Remootio with a jumper has changed: Now the device waits for the jumper to be removed before finishing the reset process.

  • Wifi setup user experience improved – the app now shows Wi-Fi related errors such as wrong password or SSID.

  • Admins can now limit when a certain shared key can be used. They can set a from-to interval (e.g.: from 11:00 05/05/2019  to 15:30 07/05/2019) or a weekly recurring pattern (e.g.: Mondays from 8:00 to 16:00, Tuesdays from 9:00 to 11:00 …) to limit the access rights.
